This is the only instance (so far) where I have two differently numbered highways on one page. The reason is that they are one highway from an exit numbering perspective. The limited access portion of the road continues east of 495, with an intersection before ending at Mass 85. Rumors state that the highway was to continue inside the 495 beltway, ending at 95/128. My question - would they have given the inner section another number? A favorite renumbering scheme is to reroute 93 down I-495 from their northern junction, onto 290, onto 395 and down to New London. Make the section of 93 currently within the 495 beltway something else - 895? (695 might raise a few hackles amongst those who fought the original Inner Beltway).
