Brief cosign with MA 131 in Southbridge.

Extension of CT 169. Formerly MA 93, renumbered in 1959 to avoid a numbering conflict with I-93.

Gus Steeves notes that "it makes sense to me to extend 169's designation all the way to Worcester (ending at Rt 9 via what's now Stafford Street in Charlton and Leicester, since a lot of people use that road as a main route and its maintenance could use state help."
I can't comment to the condition, not having been down there, but I'm always for extending a route if warranted.
